This week I ventured into Facebook Live, and I think I might be hooked!
I’m always wishing I could actually invite you here, to tuck up our feet on the couch, to sip something warm, to nibble on a treat (are you baking, or am I?), and talk life. I think video might get us a little closer. Since I’m sharing a guest post this week at Skip to My Lou on creating a pretty gift basket for guests, I was thinking about little touches we try to use to welcome friends and family when they come for a visit. Below I’m sharing some of those, because I thought maybe you, too, have a space you’d like to serve more than one purpose, and would like inspiration in welcoming guests to that space.
Grab a cup of coffee and settle in for a few, and let’s chat about how to create a welcoming guest room (even if it’s only temporary!).
Creating a welcoming space for guests

Let’s make it a real conversation! Let me know what you think…
I’d love if you want to share feedback on both the video and the ideas shared. Leave a comment below with some of your own ideas for welcoming overnight guests, tips for dual-use spaces, and your thoughts on Facebook Live as a way for us to share. Tell me, too, what you’d like to chat about next!
If you like what you see, you’re invited to share on your own timeline as well. Be blessed!
